On August 29 2019, social democratic and progressive political parties across Asia will come together in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Network for Social Democracy in Asia (Socdem Asia). Socdem Asia is the only platform for social democratic, progressive parties in the region and the Asian affiliate organization of the Progressive Alliance. This year’s theme will be “Breaking Through: A Decade of Social Democratic Struggles and Victories”. This event will serve to reflect Socdem Asia's victories and struggles and weave a narrative on the impact of our social democratic project. Also attending are delegations from fellow progressive political parties and organizations from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
