SocDem Asia in partnership with the Progressive Alliance and the Partai Nasdem successfully conducted its conference last 21-25 November in Jakarta bringing together parties from Asia and the Pacific to take on the current discourse on the politics of identities, social democracy's role in extending human rights on a universal scale regardless of gender, religion. We also discussed ways forward and how social democrats must engage the diversity in our societies.
