The International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade

March 25

🕊 Honoring the past, shaping the future.

Today, we remember the millions of men, women, and children who were forcibly taken from their homes and subjected to unimaginable suffering during the transatlantic slave trade. Their resilience, strength, and stories must never be forgotten.

History teaches us that injustice must never be ignored. As we honor the victims, let’s also commit to fighting against modern forms of slavery, discrimination, and oppression. The past cannot be changed, but together, we can shape a more just and equal future.
